We look forward to your participation at market!

For our second market year, Montgomery Farmers’ Market will be operating this summer in the parking lot of Montgomery Elementary School (9609 Montgomery Rd) on Saturday mornings 9am through 12:30 pm from May through October.

Part of our mission is promoting Montgomery businesses and encouraging local residents to patronize those businesses. We would love to have you or a member of your staff conduct a food or cooking demonstration or do sampling one morning during our market season. We can provide a shelter, gas grill/cooktop, and table, and we also have access to electricity if needed. In the past, chefs have shopped the market, then come up with a recipe on-the-fly using the seasonal foods available that morning at market; this has proved very popular with our market shoppers. We’ve also found that including this new recipe (along with the chef and restaurant name) in our next week’s market newsletter adds to the benefit you get for spending your time and energy participating at the market.

We're also very interested in cooking demonstrations by local home cooks; if you can demonstrate anything from homebrewing to canning, we'd love to have you!
